It reads as follows: The reglazed finish is guaranteed against flaking, peeling, sagging and crazing for five (5) full years. Your new tub has a life expectancy of over ten years. Our surface is not guaranteed against man-made damage. The bathtub will chip if you drop something heavy on it – just as it would if it were a new tub.
Chipping & Repair
Another advantage of the reglazing process is that if the bathtub should become chipped, the technician can make an invisible repair in most cases. Chip repair work is performed on acrylic, porcelain and fiberglass surfaces and is done without removal. All repairs are warrantied.
